rental: terms & condition
We request your cooperation in following these terms for a smooth rental experience.
PAYMENTS & EXTENSIONS
Rental charges must be paid in advance for the chosen rental duration. If you wish to extend the rental period, please inform us at least 3 days before the expiry date. The next payment will also be in advance and must be made on or before the due date.
HARDWARE MAINTENANCE & SUPPORT
All hardware maintenance will be handled only by our authorized technicians. Please do not open, repair, or tamper with the device in any manner. Any unauthorized tampering, opening of the hardware, or alteration of internal components will result in the immediate cancellation of the rental, forfeiture of the security deposit, and the customer will be billed for full repair or replacement costs. We provide support only for hardware and operating system issues. We do not attend to any problems arising from the installation of additional software by the customer.
SERVICE RESPONSE
Customers can book a service request by calling +919840885544 or by emailing us at support@lexiconsystems.in. Service response time will be within 4 hours, and issues will be resolved within 1 working day, depending on the nature of the problem. No service is available on Sundays.
REPLACEMENTS
If the rented device is not repairable due to a hardware malfunction (and the damage was not caused by the user), Lexicon Systems will provide a replacement device of the same configuration. Please note that Lexicon Systems is strictly not responsible for any customer data. Customers are strongly requested to regularly back up their data to prevent any loss during hardware failures or replacements.
DELIVERY & COURIER CHARGES
Delivery charges are extra and apply to all orders placed outside of our office locations. The customer is responsible for paying any applicable courier or transportation fees.
LATE PAYMENTS
If the rental payment is not made on time, late charges may apply as per company policy.
EQUIPMENT CARE & DAMAGES
The customer must take proper care of the laptop. Any damage caused by mishandling, liquid spills, drops, power issues, unauthorized repairs, negligence, or natural events must be fully reimbursed by the customer. In case of loss, theft, or irrecoverable damage, the customer must pay the full replacement value of the laptop.
DATA PRIVACY AND SECURITY
It is the Renter’s responsibility to back up and delete all personal or corporate data before returning the equipment. We perform a complete data wipe upon return, and the company holds no liability for any data left on the device or any data loss during the rental period.
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
Users shall not engage in any illegal, fraudulent, or harmful activities using the rented Products. The use of our hardware for unauthorized cryptocurrency mining, hacking, or any malicious digital activity is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate termination of the agreement.
BREACH OF TERMS & IMMEDIATE RECALL
If the customer fails to follow the payment terms, damages the device, tampers with it, or violates any of the above conditions, the laptop will be collected immediately. All pending dues or damage charges must be settled without delay.
REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT & DOCUMENTS
The refundable deposit and/or original documents collected will be returned immediately upon return of the laptop.
RETURN OF EQUIPMENT & ACCESSORIES
The customer agrees to return the device in the exact same condition it was received, subject to normal wear and tear. All original accessories provided, including power adapters, charging cables, and bags, must be returned. Failure to return these accessories will result in replacement charges being deducted from the security deposit.
OWNERSHIP & PROHIBITED TRANSFERS
All rented equipment remains the sole property of Lexicon Systems. The customer has no ownership rights and is strictly prohibited from selling, pledging, subleasing, or transferring the rented equipment to any third party under any circumstances.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
